Video Editing Facilities

The Video Editing Facilities in the Gateway Building primarily support the video classes offered by the Communications Programme. Yet during idle time, students and members of the University may use these facilities for video recording, editing and other related services. Although CCT offers its assistance to patrons through the services of two technical persons in the area, students who do not possess editing skills should not expect to be able to do such work.

CCT is not thus far in a position to offer a cameraperson. Yet on several occasions students from the Communications Programme have been recruited to do support work for a number of projects. Persons requiring the use of facilities are requested to acquire the necessary time allotment through their instructors (if they are taking video classes) or through the Director/Executive Director of the CCT. Technical persons at the editing area will only accept to take your bookings if you provide the required time allocation tickets. Technical personnel enforce copyright safeguards.
