CCT is currently made up of three divisions:

Communications and Instructional Design Division offers and co-ordinates undergraduates and postgraduate programmes in communications theory, media production, integrated marketing communications and journalism.
Library and Information Studies Division offers a diploma programme in Library and Information. Plans are currently at hand to introduce the subject at an undergraduate degree level.
Law and Information Technology Research Division offers study units in the area of information privacy, data protection and legal issues related to the international use of data.
